DNIESTER RIVER IN LVIV REGION
Dniester is the river that originates in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It flows through the Ukraine and Moldova and flows into the Black Sea. The river has many tributaries. Meaning of the word «Dniester» in the Old Slavonic language means Border River and now its name means Great River. The length of the Dniester River is about 660 m.
Near the famous river grows a huge number of trees and plants that are under protection. At the top of the Dniester live such valuable species of fish: sturgeon, carp, chub and others. It is a great place to relax with high, rocky shores, and sometimes planted forests. Tourists can enjoy the holiday on the Dniester River.
